1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Zenhook ("the Service"), operated by Solar Beam Studio ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
Zenhook is a webhook-to-notification platform. You send webhook payloads to unique channel URLs, and we deliver real-time alerts via sound, desktop notifications, push notifications, and email. The Service also includes uptime monitoring for URLs you configure.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Send spam, phishing attempts, or malicious content via webhooks
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
- Use the Service for monitoring URLs you do not own or have authorization to monitor
- Exceed rate limits or circumvent usage restrictions
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Plans and billing
- The Service offers free and paid plans with different usage limits
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your billing settings
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice via email
6. Usage limits
Each plan includes limits on events per month, channels, team members, and uptime monitors. When you reach a limit, the Service may stop processing new events until the limit resets or you upgrade. We will not delete your existing data when limits are reached.
7. Data and content
- You retain ownership of all data you send to the Service
- You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service
- You are responsible for the content of webhook payloads you send
- We may remove content that violates these terms
8. API and webhook tokens
- Webhook tokens and API tokens are confidential — treat them like passwords
- You are responsible for any requests made with your tokens
- If you suspect a token has been compromised, regenerate it immediately from your settings
- We rate-limit webhook requests to protect the Service and other users
9. Availability and support
- We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
- Support is provided via email — paid plans receive priority support
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solar Beam Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Account termination
- You can delete your account at any time from your settings
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- Any outstanding charges remain due upon termination
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
